Welcome! 👋
I am a Research Associate at the Chair of Comparative Social Stratification at the Max Weber Institute of Sociology, Heidelberg University. Prior to this, I was a Research Associate at the Chair of Social Stratification and Social Policy at the Institute of Sociology at Goethe University, where I worked on the ERC-funded research project “POLAR – Polarization and its Discontents: Does rising economic inequality undermine the foundations of liberal societies?”. I am also an Associated Member of the Institute for Empirical-Analytical Research (InFER) at Goethe University.
In my research, I am interested in understanding the causes and consequences of social inequalities. In particular, my work focuses on linking individual socio-economic and socio-political inequalities and stratification processes to broader economic, institutional, and normative contexts. In my PhD project, I investigate the gendered socio-economic consequences of unemployment across countries.
📌 From October to December 2026, I am visiting the Department of Social Policy and Intervention and the Economics, Inequality & Opportunity Group at the Institute of New Economic Thinking, University of Oxford. If you would like to meet for a coffee while I am here, please feel free to reach out!
